Satya (Amy) embarked on her certification in 2023. Surrendering on the mat has always been an outlet for her physically, but in 2023 there was something else. There was a “secret knowing”. She felt her teachers glowing with it and that desire to want in on the secret grew with each class.
Gopi Yoga Center’s 200-hour yoga teacher training was one of the best decisions of her life. Wholeheartedly embracing the journey of yoga for herself, she is devoted to each day using the teachings as her guide. Satya believes the teaching “yoga meets you where you are” and encourages all to give it a try and is cheering you on. With a focus on mindfulness, connection with self, breath, and presence, she strives to share the experience of what she learns with all.
Satya has never-ending gratitude for her teachers Malati, Santoshi, and Sumukhi, as well as her mother and 2 children (Matthew & Madalyn) for the constant support and all the beautiful souls she meets each day.
