Yin Yoga Immersion

January—February 2026

The Heart of Yin: An Immersion for Students and Teachers Alike

This 20-hour Yin Yoga Immersion invites you to slow down, soften, and listen deeply. Rooted in the philosophy of stillness, surrender, and balance, this journey blends the ancient wisdom of Yin and Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern anatomy and heartfelt teaching.

Whether you are a seasoned teacher looking to expand your offerings or a student seeking depth and rest, this immersion is for you.

Soften Into Yin

Are You a Student?

This immersion is a sanctuary for your nervous system — a pause from the pace of doing.

You’ll explore:

  • The art of slowing down and listening to your body’s quiet wisdom
  • How Yin supports emotional regulation and deep inner calm
  • The energetic body: meridians, chakras, and the flow of prana or qi
  • How to move from effort to ease, releasing tension stored in the fascia
  • The philosophy of surrender and its power to reshape how you live, not just how you practice

Emerge feeling recharged, grounded, and connected, with new ways to bring mindfulness and rest into your daily life. This immersion is as much a personal retreat as it is a course.

No teaching experience required — just curiosity and a willingness to be still.

Certificate of Completion provided for all students (independent study optional).

Retreat Into Being

Are You a Teacher?

For yoga teachers ready to broaden their skill set, this training provides the tools and understanding to integrate Yin principles into any teaching style. Deepen your anatomical knowledge, learn to guide students safely in longer-held postures, and explore how the energetic body informs balance and wellbeing.

You’ll learn to:

  • Sequence Yin classes intelligently using meridians, chakras, or target areas
  • Explore the anatomy of stillness: fascia, joints, and connective tissues as pathways to release and awareness
  • Support students safely by honoring unique ranges of motion and individual anatomy
  • Hold space with greater calm, presence, and compassion
  • Integrate Yin philosophy and energetics into your current teaching style and sequencing
  • Refine your vocal tone and cueing language for Yin environments
  • Teach from intuition and awareness, encouraging non-striving and self-inquiry

Refine your ability to observe, listen, and respond intuitively — embodying the qualities of Yin so they naturally infuse your classes, your relationships with students, and your own practice.

Counts toward Yoga Alliance Continuing Education for 200-, 300-, or 500-hour teachers.

Transform the Way You Guide Students

The Heart of Yin at Gopi Yoga

At Gopi Yoga Center, our path is simple:
Love is the method. Presence is the path.

The Yin approach invites us to rest in that truth — to move with gentleness, breathe with awareness, and trust that stillness is a form of strength.
Here, practice becomes prayer.
And surrender becomes the way home.

Surrender to Stillness

Meet Your Instructor & Curriculum Highlights

With deep gratitude for the many teachers who’ve guided her journey, dharani brings a heart-centered approach to sharing Yin Yoga. Rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qigong, her teaching blends stillness, energy, and healing. It is through this integrated approach that she is honored to offer this Yin Yoga Immersion — a journey inward to restore balance, awaken awareness, and reconnect to the essence of being.
