My aim is for my students to step off the mat feeling uplifted and with clear vision, inspired to live better moment to moment.

While tutoring athletes at Rutgers, I used breathing techniques and meditation practices to help my students focus. Watching their growth inspired me to complete my 200-hour yoga teacher training. I furthered my training with the Baptiste Institute and became a certified Baptiste instructor in 2020. I was drawn to this practice by its three guiding principles focused on asana, meditation and self-inquiry. Yoga is a moving meditation, and I encourage my students to challenge themselves and discover the tools they already have to explore their own potential on and off their mat. I approach teaching as another step in my own studentship and use teaching as an opportunity to share my experiences of growth and discovery.
