Brittany began practicing yoga as a teenager and has continued to practice in different capacities throughout her life. She turned to her practice to calm and restore the mind/body, especially during times of stress and anxiety. Following a period of loss and hardship, she felt a calling to deepen her mental, spiritual and physical practice, and elected to begin her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2022 at Onyx Yoga Studio with Jane Lindemann and Malati Elliott. Through this training, Brittany discovered firsthand the transformative power of integrating the principals of yoga both on and off the mat. Yoga helped her to heal mentally and physically, cultivate resilience, embrace opportunities for growth and connection, and has offered her a new, kinder, gentler perspective on life. On the mat, she practices alignment focused asana with integrated breathwork, and enjoys finding the balance between a challenging yet restorative practice. Brittany hopes to share the teachings she has received with her students to help them on their own unique journey.
