As a former preschool teacher, her foremost goal was always to create a sense of joy and discovery every time her students stepped into the classroom, and she hopes to bring that same energy into her yoga classes.

Laila completed the 200-hour teacher training program with Malati Elliott
and Jane Lindemann in May 2023. While she had taken yoga classes here
and there for the past 30 plus years, yoga didn’t become a consistent
practice until March 2020 when her place of work, gym, and social life all
shutdown with the pandemic. Looking for some element of structure to the
day, she began a 30 day on-line yoga challenge which led her on the path
to a daily practice. Realizing how much better she felt both physically and
mentally, she wanted to share the benefits of yoga with others. As a
former preschool teacher, her foremost goal was always to create a sense
of joy and discovery every time her students stepped into the classroom,
and she hopes to bring that same energy into her yoga classes.
