We slowed down with the slowest beings in the rain

We slowed down with the slowest beings in the rainforest 🦥

At the sloth sanctuary, we learned how rescued sloths - whether injured, orphaned, or displaced by deforestation and development - are cared for through research, rehabilitation, and when possible, release back into the wild.

But we have much more to learn from their way of being. Their slow pace, adaptability, and resilience demonstrate the value of rest, mindfulness, and patience over rushing from one thing to the next. Thank you, sloths, for this lovely reminder!🩷
